A six-month rebuild of Nothing's global website, a collaboration with OpenPurpose® and design lead Elodie Fabbri. We rebuilt hundreds of pages across product launches, editorial content, and support.

We developed the website and content management system, and assisted the team at Nothing with this major launch every step of the way, while advising on the design system. A common question during the design-to-development handover was “Is this even possible?” In response, we continuously iterated and found solutions.

It was clear Nothing could no longer be a conventional online store. The brand needed storytelling, unique editorial pages for each product launch, and a nod to the unique identity of its devices and custom software.

As a result, we built dozens of fully customisable widgets and bespoke controls in the content management system, so Nothing's in-house team could assemble unique product pages with drag and drop. No technical experience required. Previously, launches required external contractors across different time zones, with tons of back and forth and delays.

Storytelling and the shopping experience now run through the same site instead of separate ones, decreasing churn. And despite a highly challenging and unconventional design approach, Nothing can now run its operations fully in-house.
